Doctors At Samford Valley Billing Update
Dear Patients, Due to the increasing costs of running a medical centre from Monday 5th May 2025 we will be increasing all our consultation fees. Patients are asked to pay in full on the day of the consultation and the reception staff can lodge your Medicare rebate, you can pay with eftpos and cash. Telehealth Appointments will incur the same time based fees.

We are a private billing practice. This includes privately billed DVA and pension card holders.

Did Not Attend Fee
A patient who fails to attend a standard (15 minute) consultation will be billed a fee of $50.
A patient who books a Long (30 minute) consultation and fails to attend will be billed a fee of $90.
Please note fees do not have a Medicare rebate and must be paid before your next appointment. Fees may also increase if a patient DNA multiple times.
Telehealth Payments and Document Release Policy
Payment for telehealth consultations is requested on the day of service.
Please note that non-urgent documents, including referral letters, repeat prescriptions, and medical certificates, will generally only be provided once payment for the relevant consultation has been received. This policy is intended to ensure fairness and consistency for all patients and to support the timely delivery of high-quality care.
If your matter is clinically urgent, out team will prioritise your care irrespective of payment status.
